The title from the series 'Notes From Grey City' , a series with a friend John Z Robinson, played on the perception of the city-Dunedin, located in the southern part of New Zealand, as a grey cold place.

Instead knowingly painting with bright colours, John and I showcased our inspiration of our home town surroundings in this exhibition.

Many of my works in this exhibition use subject matter of a near by coastal town.

The exhibition celebrates surrounding landscapes, as well as further investigating a curiousness for the quirky kiwi iconic pleasures, such as small cribs hidden away, boats and remote bus stops, which people secretly love, yet go missed.
